The idea for Café Marrakech was inspired by unforgettable culinary adventures through Marrakech and Essaouira, where the warmth of Moroccan hospitality and the vibrancy of everyday food truly captivated us. We fell in love with the fresh ingredients, the uncomplicated yet soulful cooking, and the immense pride Moroccans take in every dish they serve. Our aim is to bring those authentic flavours to Canterbury — not restaurant-style fare, but the real food enjoyed daily by millions in Morocco. From fragrant tagines to vibrant salads and freshly baked bread, we hope to recreate the same emotions we experienced on Morocco’s bustling streets and sun-soaked cafés.
